Satisfying hummus snack!

Ingredients                                                                                        

  • 220g chickpeas
  • 1 tablespoon tahini
  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 big tablespoon of lemon juice
  • Pinch of cumin
  • Pinch of paprika powder
  • pepper
  • salt

 

Preparation

  • Place the chickpeas in a blender.
  • Add the garlic, tahini, lemon juice, cumin, paprika powder, pepper and salt.
  • Lastly, add the olive oil. About 3 tablespoons.
  • Blend everything together until you get a creamy hummus.
  • If it’s still a bit dry, add extra olive oil.
  • You can always add some extra spices of salt to your liking.

 

  • Garnish with some spring onions, sesame seeds and cherry tomatoes.
  • Serve with breadsticks, raw carrots, celery sticks or in a chicory leaf.
  • Enjoy!

  • 220g kikkererwten
  • 1 eetlepel tahin pasta
  • 3 eetlepels olijfolie
  • 1 teentje knoflook
  • 1 grote eetlepel citroensap
  • Snuifje komijn
  • Snuifje paprika poeder
  • peper
  • zout

 

Bereiding

  • Kikkererwten in een blender.
  • Voeg de knoflook, tahin pasta, citroensap, komijn, paprika poeder, peper en zout toe.
  • Voeg ten slotte olijfolie toe. Een 3 tal eetlepels.
  • Mix alles tot een egale smeuïge samenstelling.
  • Als het nog wat droog is, voeg je extra olijfolie toe.
  • Naar smaak kan je altijd nog wat kruiden of zout toevoegen.

 

  • Garneer met wat lente uitjes, sesamzaad en kerstomaatjes.
  • Serveer met aperitif stokjes, wortel stukjes, selder, of in een witloof blaadje.
  • Smakelijk!
